review your operation and provide recommendations for
automating your laboratory. This includes vendor identification,
equipment evaluation and cost analysis.
There are continuing improvements in automation available to
laboratories. Laboratory operations have more tools available
today than even a few short years ago. We can help you determine
the laboratory's need, wade through the equipment that is
available, evaluate the equipment, justify it, and instruct how to
implement the use of the new equipment.
It is easy to blindly purchase a piece of equipment and suddenly
expect a complete turn around in every aspect of your operation.
Obviously, this is not realistic. We have experience in evaluation of
a laboratory's needs to determine which equipment can help and
prioritize those needs.
Once the needs assessment is complete and prioritized, we will
help evaluate vendors and determine a short list of models to
evaluate. Then an evaluation protocol is developed and followed.
If the evaluation shows a reasonable payback, then justification,
including a cost analysis, is performed and a recommendation is
presented. If approval is obtained, we can assist in
implementation including development of SOPs and monitoring of
equipment performance.
